Hey Nina, great post and I loved reading the quotes you had extracted here. I like to read motivational quotes as they can help pull you out of a bad mindset and get you thinking in a more positive way. One of my favorites is ‘I would rather beg for forgiveness than ask permission’ ( not sure who) but I use this in my working life as it helps to get stuff done. Dan

Once again, I enjoyed reading your Weekly Positive Quotes for 2/22-3/28. The quote that most reached out to me was the one by Caroline Gordon. This is largely because when I read a good book, I am certainly transported to another world. One which I would never inhabit except for the writings in that particular book. Great quotes, thanks.

Hi, Jenni! Thanks for the kind comment. I also really like this quote from Caroline Gordon. Everything is possible in books and through books, we live parallel lives.

I wish you a wonderful week,

Hi Nina, what a wonderful post! I love reading too, I keep a document on my laptop where I store all of the inspiring quotes I come across. I just added about 10 quotes which you included in your article. Thanks!

My favorite quote from the list was “Books are mirrors: you only see in them what you already have inside you.” by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Books read you as you read them. They unlock the chambers hidden within you, to paraphrase Kafka.

Books have upgraded my life in every way. And they keep doing so! We should all preach the power of books to everyone we meet, so we may all become wiser, stronger and more prosperous.

    All the best,

We grow through books, every book gives us something, so we should really encourage reading. You wrote perfectly how reading makes us wiser, stronger, and more prosperous.

I wish you a wonderful week,

I especially like the Malcolm X quote. Reading really changed his life. And you don’t need to be at a personal low point to give it a chance.

Your positivity quotes are the best! I really enjoy them. The Carl Sagan one “to read is a voyage through time” really resonated with me.
