Weekly Positive Quotes – September 14th – September 20th, 2020

September 15 is International Day of Democracy, so this week’s thoughts are quotes about democracy.

Democracy is a system in which people are the ones who choose their power in the form of elections. Whether the system will succeed, however, depends on the elected people.

This was AMAZING Nina. I totally agree with you. I actually live by quotes because I believe that many people, before us, have lived unique non mundane lives and they left us with powerful quotes that we can use and live by to help better ourselves.

I agree that our system is very corrupt and sinister but we the people have the power to wake up and realize the truth and we can make world peace and end, war, hunger poverty, disease, famine, and have more health, wealthy and abundance together as one human unit.

Keep up the greatness and I did subscribe to your youtube channel. I am planetgreenzen on youtube. 🙂

All spiritual awakening is made conceivable by the weakening of one’s inner self. The approaches to accomplish this are various. Some would suggest meditation that calms the inner mind and carries one to a more focused and careful being. Others would suggest Self-Mastery,

The idea that being independent of outside conditions and keeping up power over self rather than just reacting to outer conditions would achieve a sudden awakening. All these lead to something very similar, the weakening of one’s sense of self.

I love: Government leaders are amazing. So often it seems they are the last to know what the people want.

It is so true.  Politics is not about what the people want but about who can gain the most. I live in South Africa and the amount of government corruption going on in broad daylight is unmentionable. Almost every decision the government make is about money and it’s just like the voice of the people does not matter.

Thanks for visiting and commenting. Yes, I am also of the opinion that politicians listen to the people only during elections, and all the rest of the time, as if they live on some planet of their own.

I wish you a nice and successful week,
